Any orders above $1000 will need a PO Number and approver email address, please make sure all requisitions are made under "Compass Group Canada". 

The Approver can not be the same as the Requester

We pride ourselves on our ability to meet any need with style and creativity, assuring the success of your event.

This system has been created to make ordering your food and beverage requirements as easy as possible. We want to ensure that we are providing you with the very best options for you to select from, so please let us know if there is something you do not see in our order guide. We will be happy to assist you at any time with placing your food and beverage orders. Simply call the café where your event will be hosted and let our café manager walk you through the online process.

Delivery Charges

Any events less than $299.00 before taxes will have service charges of $45.00 to their invoice or you can have free pickup from Monday(7am-4pm) to Friday(7am-4pm). Dishes need to be returned to cafeteria or the place of pickup after the event is over

 Ordering

Catering office hours are 8am-4pm Monday till Friday. For general orders we require (48h) notice, for functions grater than 50 guests, we require (5) days notice.

Menu Selection & Tables for the food order. 

Our food service team takes pride in our menus and executing your catering order, please note our posted menu is a DROP & GO Menus. Should you desire a custom menu, please contact Chartwells , at least 2 weeks in advance of your function. This will allow us to source and plan accordingly and ensure availability of products.

Change Requests

All change requests must be send though Catertrax,.  change is approved ONLY if  you receive an email notification through Catertrax. 

Leftover Food

Due to Quality Assurance restrictions, leftover food cannot be packaged or boxed for carry over or take home purposes

Drop and Go Menu

All of our menus is based on a drop and go service based on your request.

Labour Charges

Should an event require additional labour (e.g. servers) please contact Chartwells Catering team for details.

(Extra labor Charges apply for after hours, Weekends and on Stat Holidays, Minimum 4 hours , $30 Per hour)

Linen Charges

Linen will be at additional charge for 8.99$ plus tax per piece.

Payment

All internal events require full payment within 30 days from the date of the invoice.

Late Booking Charges

In order to ensure that your catering selections receive the proper attention and are delivered on time. We kindly request that you follow the booking guidelines indicated below.

48 hours’ notice for Coffee, Pastry, Breakfast and Cold Luncheons

72 hours’ notice for Hot Luncheons and Dinners

5 Business days for Special Events

Should the client make a booking, less than the above mentioned notice, a late booking fee might apply .

 

Cancellation Charges

To avoid charging cancellation fees, we require a 2 day notice period prior to the event for a small service under 30 customers.

5 day’s notice for large function over 30 customers

All cancellations made under a 2 day notice period will be charged a cancellation fee of 50%

All cancellations made on the day of the event will be charged a cancellation fee of 100%

Guarantee and Minimum Number of Customers Per Event

A guaranteed number of customers are required by 72 hours prior to the event date.

Should your guest count go up unexpectedly on the day of the event, requests for additional food/beverage will be accommodated where possible. You will be billed for the final guaranteed count or actual number served.

Minimum number of customers for any event is 10.

China Charges

Our Catering Department provides full set of paper and plastic products. We offer china service for any event at an additional charge.

China: $3.99 per guest

If only Coffee/tea Mugs requested: $1.99 per guest
